Chellaram Shipping is well reputed for reliable and high-quality ship management of Dry Bulk vessels for the past 30 years. The present fleet consists of 6 Handymaxes, 3 Handies and a Hopper Dredger. Two each Newbuilding Hopper Dredgers and Kamsarmaxes are on order for delivery in 2010.
We invite applications for the following position in Hong Kong:
Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced and well-qualified person who meets our following requirements:
• Degree holder or Higher Diploma in Sea Transportation.
• At least 5 years’ experience in dry bulk shipping operations and post fixture operations including claims handling
• Must have knowledge of time charter, voyage charter, CP details, laytime calculation and Marine Insurance.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage. • Able to work independently, responsible, well organised, self-motivated and willing to work overtime.
• Preferably below 40 years age
