Darya Lachmi, the vessel named after the ‘Goddess of fortune & wealth’ was delivered on 24th November 2022 by Chengxi Shipyard China and marked the addition of another vessel to the expanding fleet of Chellaram Shipping. The Delivery ceremony was conducted over video call due to Covid pandemic restrictions in China. The Ship’s crew performed the pooja which was live over zoom and attended by the Chellaram Shipping (HK) office as well as by the site team representatives. The vessel sailed outbound on 27th November 2022 early AM amid cracking fireworks arranged by the yard.
