Chellaram Foundation has developed a Mobile Breast Cancer Clinic (MBCC) to travel into the heart of remote rural communities in India to provide breast screening and early-stage cancer detection services.

Chellaram Foundation will leverage its Hub and Spoke model, which was developed for diabetes screening, to reach the doorsteps of rural communities. A trained team ofhealthcare workers will use contactless thermal imaging technology for breast cancer screeningto address the ‘stigma’ attached to physical screening in these communities.
